Also one should never use rubber backed mats, non-ventilated mats on hardwood flooring.  If one takes care of such minute things their hardwood floor will last longer and will be clean for long time. Wfca.org has published a nice article on how to clean hardwood floors. Many tips and tricks are provided in this article, which one can read and put into practice. So be sure to read this article, if you are interesting in keeping your hardwood floor clean.
