Ski vacation

19 July 2007

James was a renowned author. Like most other famous authors, he had to struggle before getting acknowledged. His novels are on a number of topics- from action to sci-fi adventures to simple stories that deal with everyday life. Sitting in his room, he was finding it difficult to get and improvise ideas for a new story. It appeared to be a classic case of writers’ block, and so James decided to go skiing in Courchevel and get a much needed break. As a child, James had always been fascinated by the snow. After Courchevel, he decided to go and ski in Val d’Isere. A couple of days later, he was in one of the La Plagne chalets, a hundred kilometres away from Val D’Isere. In the chalet, a new idea about a snowman struck him, and when he returned to England, the new novel was well and truly underway.
