While sauna indeed forces our body to release a lot of sweat, it is yet to be proven that sauna can effectively promote weight loss. All of the sweat excreted during sauna period will usually be gained back in an instant when a person drinks water. Sauna has also been reported to improve blood cholesterol level and heart pressure while also curing some diseases such as arthritis, bronchitis and laryngitis.
Of course sauna also has the famous detoxifying effect. In short, detoxifying means that sauna can help body to release the dangerous body toxins through sweating. Our skin nowadays has been exposed to countless pollution and chemical material in our daily activities. Sauna is believed to be able to release such toxins caused by pollution and chemical.
