American Idol
16 February 2007I’m not too sure why so many people were crazy about American idol. I’ve never watched an episode of the talent contest before and think that watching people sing on stage in showy getups is just lame. That was untill my friend June insisted that I watch one episode of the show a while back. I remember it was the one where Taylor Hicks was doing some oldie tune. I didn’t know they had such cute guys in American idol.
I loved his grayish hair and I loved watching him do those little dance moves on stage. Some people have said that he just looks really old but I thought that he looked distinguished and kinda hot. However I did think that Katharine McPhee had a way better voice. Big and traditional diva-style vocals. Taylor was kinda weak in the vocal department but I think he stood out from the rest of the american idols because of his personal style. He deserved to win American idol and I’m really glad that things are going great for him after the contest. Just hope that he might be coming to my hometown soon so I can watch him perform live. I’ve heard some rumors that he might be showing up during the summer but I don’t wanna get my hopes up yet.
